16 Zahraniční studenti autor: Jiří Malina a Martina Švarcová „Prázdniny“ u Maxe Už vloni naše lékárny hostily zahraniční studenty, kteří k nám přijeli v rámci výměnného programu. Nejčastější odpovědi na otázku „Co vás napadne, když se řekne Dr.Max?“ byly tyto: – Příjemné prostředí – Spokojení zaměstnanci – Usměvavé a schopné lékárnice – Výhody pro pacienty i zaměstnance Antonio Ezquerro, Španělsko Dear Dr.Max team, first of all I have to say thank you for having me at Dr.Max, it was a real pleasure! About the practice, thanks to the people I worked with I could learn a lot about the czech health system and see the differences and similarities with the spanish system (i.e: we don‘t have such pharmacy chains as Dr.Max, and we use much more the e-rezept). I think the program is nice to learn things like those, but the daily tasks I had to do in the pharmacy were very simple and due to the language barrier (my pharmacy was far away from the city center and it was difficult to find someone who spoke english) I couldn‘t help very much the customers. Despite so, the pharmacists there were lovely and always tried to help and teach me as much has they could. Finally, I would like to take advantage of this oportunity and ask you to keep my contact for the future, as I finish my pharmacy studies next year and would really like to work in Dr.Max company. A. E. Nika Osel, Slovinsko When I take a look back through that month in Prague I can definitely say that it was amazing. The main reason why I decided to go to that exchange was learning something new through work in a pharmacy and gaining experience. I was lucky to come to pharmacy, where almost all were speaking English quite good so there was no language barrier. From the very first day and until my last day employees in the pharmacy I worked in (on Jabloňová 2137/13, Záběhlice, 106 00 Praha) were trying their best to teach me in that short period of time as much as they could. I experienced different types of work in a pharmacy and I really enjoyed my work there, the reason for that is of course also a good team of people in a pharmacy. It wasn‘t a problem for me to wake up in the morning, although I‘m not a morning person, because I was looking forward to go to the pharmacy, and sometimes I stayed longer there than I would need to just because I liked the work there so much. The atmosphere in the pharmacy was relaxed and that‘s why I felt like being home. The pharmacists let me try different types of work, they were explaining me things and answering to all my questions. They trusted me and I really appreciate that. I recommend that pharmacy not only for foreign students that come for an exchange like me but also for Czech students for their obligatory internship. Overall I can say that my experience in Dr.Max pharmacy was amazing and I don‘t regret coming to that exchange. The team of people in my pharmacy was great and I think that‘s also the reason why it was so hard to say goodbye. N. O. Malgorzata Buczkowska, Polsko My practice in Dr Max pharmacy lasts three weeks. I’m at the end of this period so I can share with you my opinion about internship. My duties in the pharmacy includes work in the lab where I help preparing compounding medicines. It’s my favourite part and I really like when there are a lot of prescriptions to do. I usually make creams and solutions but I also had a chance to prepare capsules. I know that other internship students like it too, so I think that it would be great if pharmacies chosen as a place of practice have actively working labs. I also observe pharmacists working in the expedition. They explain me functions of computer programme and sometimes I help them to find some medicines. Also one of my tasks is help in distributing drug supplies on the shelfs. I had a chance to get to know administrative rules of pharmacy, required documentation, types of prescriptions etc. I took part in everyday duties of pharmacists like controlling prescriptions and ordering drugs. I saw e-learning programme for Dr Max employees. Moreover, really nice surprise was a trip to e-shop office organized especially for me. Boss and other pharmacists spend a lot of time to explain me information included in internship plan. I really appreciate it. I noticed some interesting differences between Polish and Czech pharmacy. For example, in Poland there’s no such situation that patient can get a drug completely for free even if it is refunded. Another difference is that in my country pharmacy technicians also can fill prescriptions. Everyone in the pharmacy are really nice and it’s a big advantage. I don’t feel like intruder there. They always try to find interesting tasks for me and help me if I need it. I spend most of time with Michal Krupa, Tereza, Ivona and Weronika (unfortunately I don’t remember their last names) and I really like them. Despite this I think that two weeks of practice would be enough to get to know every interesting issues in the pharmacy. In my opinion three weeks are slightly too long. M.
